Kumbhalgarh Fort
The second-longest continuous wall on earth
85 km from Udaipur2 h 45 m driveOpens 09:00 · closes 18:00
A hill fort with 36 km of unbroken rampart, built by Rana Kumbha in the 15th century and never taken by direct assault. The drive up is the good part: a steady ghat climb through the Aravallis with genuine switchbacks. Walk the wall at least as far as the second bastion — most visitors stop at the first and miss the view that makes the trip.

Open from the morning. Go here first if you are pairing it with Ranakpur — the reverse order wastes half your day.
