Four things go wrong when you rent a car in India
The price grows between searching and paying. The deposit takes three weeks and comes back short. Someone finds a scratch nobody photographed. And when it matters, no one answers the phone.
We did not set out to build a nicer rental website. We set out to make those four things impossible, and then to make each one checkable rather than promised.
Pick the actual car
Every listing is one specific vehicle with its own photographs, service history and condition record. Not a category you get allocated from on the day.
Verify your licence
Indian licences verify in seconds through DigiLocker, straight against the government's Sarathi records. Visitors upload a home licence and International Driving Permit for a manual check — usually done within the hour.
Pay one number
The figure you saw when you searched, plus delivery if you asked for it — priced before you confirm. Tax is already in it. The deposit is separate, clearly labelled, and refundable.
Take the keys
We deliver to your hotel or the airport, walk the car with you, photograph it together, and both sign. Then it is yours.

Your deposit comes back
The rest of the market takes five to seven working days and does not tell you where you are in the queue. We start a visible clock the moment the return inspection is signed. If we deduct anything, you get the itemised reason and the photograph, and you can dispute it.
Two sets
Photographs, at both ends
Timestamped and geotagged at handover and again at return, signed by you and by us. This is the single thing that stops the argument that ruins most rentals — a mark either exists in the handover set or it does not, and if it does not, you are not paying for it.
Every car
Papers checked, and re-checked
Commercial registration, permit, fitness and — critically — insurance that actually covers rental use. A private policy on a rental car voids the claim, which is the most common failure among informal operators. Anything that lapses blocks the car from being booked automatically.
No asterisks
What is included is what is included
Kilometres, tax and delivery are stated before you commit. If you drive further than your included distance you pay the per-kilometre rate you were shown, and nothing else appears.
What you need to bring
Documents, honestly explained
If you hold an Indian licence
A valid driving licence and one photo ID. You must be at least 21 with a year of driving behind you. Verification runs through DigiLocker and takes seconds — we never keep a photocopy of anything in a drawer.
If you are visiting India
Your home country licence, an International Driving Permit, your passport and a valid visa. We require the IDP without exception — police, insurers and our partner fleets all expect it, and a claim is far harder without one.
And a genuine word of advice: if you have not driven in India before, Rajasthan highways are manageable but city traffic and unlit night roads are not what you are used to. There is no shame in taking a driver for the long legs and the keys for the rest. We will happily arrange exactly that.
