What we ask
The standards are not negotiable, and that is the point
Every one of these protects you as much as the customer. A private policy on a rental car is the most common reason a claim gets rejected in this industry — we check for it so you never find out the hard way.
- Valid commercial registration and permit for every vehicle listed
- Insurance that explicitly covers rental and self-drive use
- Current fitness certificate and PUC
- Vehicles four years old or newer
- GPS telematics fitted (we can arrange this)
- Handover and return photographs on every trip
Documents are tracked with expiry dates. Anything that lapses takes the car off sale automatically until it is renewed — no argument, no exceptions.
