Is the price I see really the price I pay?

Yes. Tax is already in the figure on the search card, and delivery is added openly when you choose it. The only things that can be added afterwards are kilometres beyond your allowance, fuel if you return the car short, and traffic fines — each at a rate shown to you before you booked.

How long does the deposit take to come back?

Within 48 hours of the return inspection being signed, and you can watch the clock in your trip page. If anything is deducted you get the itemised reason and the photograph it is based on, and you can dispute it.

What if the car already has a scratch?

Then it is in the handover photographs, which we take together and both sign before you drive away. Anything visible in that set is not yours. This is the entire reason we photograph both ends.

Can I drive in India on a foreign licence?

You need your home-country licence and an International Driving Permit, plus passport and visa. We require the IDP without exception. Upload everything at booking rather than on the morning — foreign documents are checked by a person, usually within the hour.

Should I self-drive if I have never driven in India?

Honestly, it depends where. The highways to Chittorgarh and Mount Abu are wide, well surfaced and manageable. Udaipur's old city lanes and unlit rural roads after dark are a different matter. Plenty of our guests take a driver for the long days and the keys for the rest — you can mix both in one booking.

What happens if the car breaks down?

Call the 24×7 line. Roadside assistance covers the whole of Rajasthan. If the car cannot be fixed quickly we bring you a replacement, and you are not charged for the time you lost.

Do you deliver to the airport or my hotel?

Both, and it is included in the price shown for most vehicles. We hand over at the car with the walk-through and the photographs — it takes about ten minutes.

What is the fuel policy?

Full to full. You get it full, you bring it back full. If you return it short we charge the fuel at pump price with nothing added on top.
